Academic Options

McComb Local School offers an array of classes from fine arts to agriculture. Students also have college credit plus options in math, technology, and science. Students interested in trade/industry attend the Millstream Career Center for hand on learning.  Students have options to apply knowledge in robotics, FFA, foreign languages and physics.


McComb Local School students are housed in the original 1923 building and two additions built in 1976 and 1998, respectively.  Classrooms and labs offer hands on learning and the exterior grounds provides agricultural opportunities for students to learn as well.  Completed in 2017, the football stadium has upgraded to new bleachers, sound system, press box.

Panther Pride

McComb students continue to excel in extra-curricular opportunities.  McComb has rich tradition in athletics competing and placing at the state level several times.  McComb offers athletic opportunities all year long.  Students also participate in band, choir, theatre, and many club activities.  McComb students have strong sense of pride and continue to carry on traditions based on hard work, collaboration, and competitiveness.
