School Announcements

Research has shown that starting the day with a nutritious breakfast helps students stay alert and perform better in school.  Our school participates in the School Breakfast Program.   Breakfast is served daily from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. in the McComb Cafeteria.   Stop in and see us to get your day off to a good start.

Get into games for FREE!
Any McComb student K-12 wearing red, black or white will be able to get into the boys basketball game free on Friday, Feb 27th.

The Shoot for a Cure Cancer Awareness game has been rescheduled for February 28th vs Lima Perry with a start time of 4:00.

The Sophomore Class of 2017 still has over 100 Subway Punch cards for $10.  It is a Buy one 6" sub and a 21 oz. drink, get a 6" sub of equal or lessor value for FREE!  There are 20 punches for 20 free subs!  Good at Subway inside the Great Scot in McComb and the Subway at the Pilot at I-75/SR 613.  HS SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

Senior night for the senior boys basketball players, cheerleaders and pep band will be Friday, February 27th after the jv boys basketball game. All senior parents for those students will be able to get into the game free that night. Seniors that are participating this Friday for senior night need to get your senior recognition papers into Mr Woolf by this Thursday Feb 26th. Thanks for your cooperation.  JH 7th and 8th grade  boys basketball will be honored at halftime of the boys varsity basketball game this Friday Feb 27th.   Any McComb Student K-12 wearing red, white or black will be able to get into the game free this Friday Feb 27th.

High School boys basketball Saturday, February 28th vs Lima Perry here at McComb High School will have a jv start time of 4pm with varsity to follow. Please adjust your calendars accordingly.

Summer Baseball and Softball sign-ups are on Monday, March 2 in the McComb School cafeteria at 6:30 until 8.  If anyone has any questions they can call Jason Glaser at 419-348-1246. Click HERE for registration form


Boys Tourney
Varsity Boys Basketball will be starting tournament play at Ottawa Glandorf High School Tuesday, March 3rd after the first game around an 8pm start vs. Kalida High School. Come on out and support the panthers in their quest for a sectional championship. Boys Basketball tournament pre sale tickets are on sale in the high school office starting Wednesday, Feb 18th to Monday, March 2nd  in the high school office during school hours(8am-3pm). Cost of the tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students.

Attention Seniors:
The scholarship list has been recently updated. The scholarship list is posted on the website. On the counseling page, click on Academic Resources. Copies of the scholarship list can also be found outside Mrs. Day’s office.

Seniors and parents:
Mrs. Day has set up a Remind account that will send text messages directly to your phone reminding you of new scholarships added to the scholarship list and upcoming deadlines. If you would like to receive these updates, text @0e00d to 419-386-0157.

 JH ANNOUNCEMENTS     

The 7th grade boys basketball team beat Cory-Rawson last night to advance to the Championship game of the JH tournament. They will be playing Saturday, February 28th at Cory Rawson High School vs Van Buren with a start time of 10:00 am. Come on out and support the panthers in their quest for a tournament championship.

Homework Help
Don't forget - There is homework help on Monday and Wednesday after school till 3:45 in Mrs. Orr's room.  Please plan on staying if you need the help . 


ELEMENTARY ANNOUNCEMENTS


Any student who participated in Rising Stars these past couple of weekends grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 will be playing a mini game during halftime of the boys varsity game this Friday Feb 27th. The boys from this camp will get into the game free this night but parents will have to pay. Students playing this Friday at halftime are encouraged to wear red, white or black. Go Panthers!!
